The Human Knot
Being part of a family who loves to have fun, we are always playing games with all who are willing to participate. One game we love to play and got a chance to introduce to several families on our 50 State Challenge trip, is the human knot. If you have five or more people, gather in a circle standing shoulder to shoulder. Everyone raise your right hand and grab the right hand of a person across the circle. Repeat this with your left hand, making sure to grab the hand of a different person across the circle. The group has just created a human knot. Now for the fun part. Try to untangle your new knot without releasing anyone’s hand. Our kids love to play this game and by the end everyone is all smiles and laughing. Try the human knot with your family and friends.
